Cancellation & Refund Policy

Summary

The policy covers customer cancellation of work including inspections, consulting, training, and any other services that are provided by CIC.

Application

All employees of CIC involved in customer service activities.

Responsibilities

All CIC directors and employees are responsible for following and maintaining this policy.

Cancellation

All deposits are non-refundable.

Rebooking

Rebooking the onsite date may incur penalties from travel providers, e.g. airlines, railways, etc. Penalty fees paid by CIC are billed at cost +10%. Rebooking is subject to availability of time. CIC will attempt to accommodate the preferred dates, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Training

Cancellations - Open Enrollment Classes

The cancellation timeframes are shown in Figure 1:

Booking to 31 days - Cancellations received 31 calendar days or more before the start of a training event will receive a 100% refund of the training fees.

15 to 30 days - Cancellations received between 15 and 30 calendar days before the start of a training event will receive an 80% refund of the training fees.

8 to 14 days - Cancellations received between 8 and 14 calendar days before the start of a training event will receive a 50% refund of the training fees.

7 to 0 days - Cancellations received within 7 calendar days or less before the start of class will not receive a refund.

Other Fees - Accommodation, travel and other fees are subject to the cancellation policies of the providers. CIC will add 10% handling charges to the fees charged by the providers where the bookings were made through CIC.

Notification - Notice of cancellation for open enrollment classes must be received in writing by fax at +1 (519) 653-1318 or email via training@complianceinsight.ca.

Rebooking - If the event that you are booked to attend will be presented again within three (3) months, you may be given the opportunity to rebook without penalty, if there is room in the training event. A waiting list may exist. Names are added to the waiting list on a first-com, first-served basis.

Cancellations - Private Classes

The cancellation timeframes for Private classes are shown in Figure 2:

Booking to 31 days - Cancellations received 31 calendar days or more before the start of a training event receive a 100% refund of the training fees.

15 to 30 days - Cancellations received between 15 to 30 calendar days before the start of a training event will receive a 50% refund of the training fees.

0 to 14 days - Cancellations received 14 calendar days or less before the start of the training event will not receive a refund.

Other Fees - In the case of a cancellation the customer will be responsible for reimbursement of all unrecoverable expenses (such as travel or equipment rentals) incurred by Compliance InSight Consulting Inc. for the specific training engagement. Accommodation, travel and other fees are subject to the cancellation policies of the providers. CIC will add 10% handling charges to the fees charged by the providers.

Rebooking - Rebooking private classes may be possible. Please contact your CIC consultant to discuss rebooking your event. Change fees may apply.

Enforcement

All directors and employees are required to enforce this policy.
