Qualifications
Our principal consultant, Doug Nix, has more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing and standardization and is a Certified Engineering Technologist. We also have a wide network of other professionals that we can engage to assist with projects as necessary. We work with our engineering partners when our services require a licensed Professional Engineer, e.g., Ontario Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews. Do you sell physical products?
No. Compliance Insight Consulting Inc. is a consulting firm. We offer our consultant’s expertise to help solve your machinery safety and regulatory challenges. We don’t sell any safety products because doing so would compromise our ability to offer sound advice based on the market’s best available products and services. COVID-19 Pandemic
Starting in February 2020, we stopped most travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are following the guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and will adjust this policy as PHAC’s guidance changes. We offer our services via the web, including site inspections conducted via video conference. Please get in touch with us if you have any additional questions regarding our pandemic policy.

Do you travel to the USA?
No. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the current situation at the US border make it very difficult to ensure our safety and the security of the client information that we may be carrying with us on their mobile devices. Once travel across the border normalizes and random searches of mobile devices become less of a problem, we may resume crossing the border. In the meantime, we can offer our US customers many of the services we previously provided face-to-face via the Internet. This approach can offer considerable savings over face-to-face meetings since the client must cover no travel costs.
Do you travel to Europe?
