Qualifications

Our prin­ci­pal con­sul­tant, Doug Nix, has more than 35 years of expe­ri­ence in man­u­fac­tur­ing and stan­dard­iza­tion and is a Cer­ti­fied Engi­neer­ing Tech­nol­o­gist. We also have a wide net­work of oth­er pro­fes­sion­als that we can engage to assist with projects as nec­es­sary. We work with our engi­neer­ing part­ners when our ser­vices require a licensed Pro­fes­sion­al Engi­neer, e.g., Ontario Pre-Start Health and Safe­ty Reviews. Our CFO and Train­ing Direc­tor, Kim­ber­ly Nix, has a BA in Psy­chol­o­gy (Hons) and a B.Ed. She is accred­it­ed by the Ontario Col­lege of Teach­ers (OCT). Her back­ground includes over 35 years of expe­ri­ence in busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion, teach­ing, train­ing, and soft­ware and hard­ware tech­ni­cal support.

Do you sell physical products?

No. Com­pli­ance Insight Con­sult­ing Inc. is a con­sult­ing firm. We offer our consultant’s exper­tise to help solve your machin­ery safe­ty and reg­u­la­to­ry chal­lenges. We don’t sell any safe­ty prod­ucts because doing so would com­pro­mise our abil­i­ty to offer sound advice based on the market’s best avail­able prod­ucts and ser­vices. COVID-19 Pandemic

Start­ing in Feb­ru­ary 2020, we stopped most trav­el due to the COVID-19 pan­dem­ic. We are fol­low­ing the guid­ance from the Pub­lic Health Agency of Cana­da (PHAC) and will adjust this pol­i­cy as PHAC’s guid­ance changes. We do not trav­el to coun­tries list­ed at lev­els ➂ – Avoid non-essen­tial trav­el, and ➃ – Avoid all travel.

We offer our ser­vices via the web, includ­ing site inspec­tions con­duct­ed via video con­fer­ence. Please get in touch with us if you have any addi­tion­al ques­tions regard­ing our pan­dem­ic policy.

USA

No. The ongo­ing COVID-19 pan­dem­ic and the cur­rent sit­u­a­tion at the US bor­der make it very dif­fi­cult to ensure our safe­ty and the secu­ri­ty of the client infor­ma­tion that we may be car­ry­ing with us on our mobile devices. Once trav­el across the bor­der nor­mal­izes and ran­dom search­es of mobile devices become less of a prob­lem, we may resume cross­ing the bor­der. In the mean­time, we can offer our US cus­tomers many of the ser­vices we pre­vi­ous­ly pro­vid­ed face-to-face via the Inter­net. This approach can offer con­sid­er­able sav­ings over face-to-face meet­ings since the client must cov­er no trav­el costs.

Europe
